Celebrate the Holiday on Campus
We know that many of our students will heading home or spending time with friends over Thanksgiving break. However, if you are planning to spend a quiet weekend on campus during Thanksgiving Break, the University warmly welcomes you into our Thanksgiving traditions.
Highlights
- Thanksgiving Banquet — A meal to be thankful for hosted by Monsignor Shea.
- Film Fest — Enjoy some holiday movies at the Catholic Studies Men's House, complete with food and prizes.
- Turkey Trot — Those of every skill set can participate in Bismarck's Turkey Trot hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Association of North Dakota. There is a timed 10K run, 5K run/walk, and a non-competitive family fun walk.
2024 Thanksgiving on Campus
Thursday, November 28
8 am – Annual North Dakota Turkey Trot 10k & 5k race (to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Association) Sign Up Here
11:15 am – Thanksgiving Mass, Benet Chapel
12 pm – Thanksgiving Dinner, hosted by Monsignor Shea (social and drinks at noon, banquet dinner at 12:30), Chick's Place RSVP Only
5 pm – Thanksgiving Film Festival (prizes, leftovers, and snacks), Catholic Studies House – 5 min. walk from campus, rides provided if inclement weather

11 am — Morning Prayer, Annunciation Monastery
11:30 am – Mass, Annunciation Monastery
Saturday, November 30
11 am — Morning Prayer, Annunciation Monastery

Sunday, December 1

4 pm – Normal Crow’s Nest hours resume
6:30 pm – Confessions, Our Lady of the Annunciation Chapel
